Adrian Dale
Adrian is our current men's premier coach. He has been a part of our club since 1992, moving to New Zealand from England, where he played English County Cricket for Glamorgan. Adrian was Cornwall's highest run scorer until 2010. He has been a player, club manager, and now premier coach.

Dean Flyger
Premier Womens Coach
Dean Flyger has been our Premier Women's coach since 2021. Dean brings an abundance of high-performance coaching experience. He was Head Coach of the Auckland Hearts from 2016/17 to 2018/19, including a winning Hallyburton Johnston campaign in 2017/18. Prior, Dean was the Auckland Assistant Coach from 2009 to 2013 and also coached Auckland Cricket’s Under 21 and Under 18 sides for lengthy periods.

Ian Trott
Senior Mens Coach
Ian Trott has coached in South Africa, England, New Zealand, and probably other places, too. He has plenty of experience under his belt.
Ian currently works for Auckland Grammar as a coach in our senior men's grade for our white-ball competition.

Bree Illing
Bree is a left-hand pace bowler and left-hand bat.
Bree has played in the Cornwall Premier women’s team for seven years since debuting at the age of 12 and is currently a domestic contracted player in the Auckland Hearts. Bree was selected for the NZ U19 World Cup in 2023 and was part of the NZ women’s development team that toured India in 2022.
Bree holds a level 1 NZ coaching qualification and in addition to private 1-1 coaching, has coached holiday programmes and school teams. Outside of cricket, Bree is undertaking a BSc at the University of Auckland, majoring in Exercise Science and Bio.

George Worker
After 17 years on the field, George has now taken up an exciting new role as an Associate Advisor at Forsyth Barr.
As George transitions into this exciting new chapter, we are delighted that he will remain involved with the club and is eager to offer 1-1 coaching sessions to our members. George holds a NZC Level Two coaching certificate and brings a wealth of experience to these sessions. Arul Nathan
Arul Nathan is a seasoned cricket coach and player with a wealth of experience in the sport. With stints at Cornwall Cricket Club, Auckland Grammar, St Cuthberts, and Auckland Cricket under his belt, Arul has earned a reputation as an expert in player development and team strategy. Having led Central Districts U17s and U19s, Arul has proven his ability to drive winning results at the district level. When not coaching, Arul can be found on the field as Captain of Cornwall's premier reserve team, showcasing his skills as a talented bowler.'

Tarun Nathula
"As the Aucklands talent and pathways Coach and a former First-Class Cricketer who represented the New Zealand Black Caps, Tarun brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field.
His commitment to excellence is unwavering, and he consistently strives to push the boundaries of his players.In addition to his player success, Tarun has made significant strides in coaching. He has recently completed the Performance Coach Course with NZC, which has equipped him with the latest tools and techniques to help athletes reach their full potential. Tarun is actively involved in coaching both male and female programs with Auckland and New Zealand Cricket, where he has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of cricketers.He is known for his exceptional communication skills, which enable him to connect with players at all levels and create a positive and inclusive team culture."

Brodie Wakefield
Brodie is a Level 2 cricket coach with over 10 years of coaching experience. He has coached here at Cornwall for our junior teams for several years. He coached the Ellerslie Premier side for 2 years and has won four titles coaching the Ellerslie University Reserve team. Brodie is available for group/team skills training and one-on-one coaching sessions for players of all levels.
