Angela Armstrong was elected onto the Clubs Board at 64th Annual General Meeting. Angela is a Marketing and Communications executive with over 25 years experience across the energy, telecommunications and banking sectors. Her key areas of expertise are branding, sponsorship and stakeholder engagement. Angela is actively involved in her local community through her children’s schooling and sports. She has been involved in the Cornwall Cricket Club for the past 10 years with all three of her children playing for the Club.

In addition, Tony Walker and Peter Burton were acknowledged for their contribution to the Club with Life Memberships.

Tony became involved in 1994 as a junior parent, eventually joining the Junior Committee in 1999 where he remained until 2009 in various capacities, including Junior Chairman. From 2009 he held a position on the Board only retiring from his post at the conclusion of the 2017/18 season. Tony achieved a lot during his time with the club, this included restructuring the midget club to how we know it today, setting up a Senior Committee, introduced the Junior Open Day and introducing a strategic planning approach to the club.

Peter is a "club man." He started at the club as a junior in 1969 and hasn't left since! Peter, a self-proclaimed average player has given immensely off the field, joining the Management Committee in 1984, now called the Board, and finishing up in 2011. He acted as a Treasurer for 15 years. Today Peter is still heavily involved in the club, now as a coach of two teams, his sons and his daughters.
