This is where you are able to find basic information for Men's Senior Cricket. This includes Premier and Premier Reserve, Grade Cricket, One Day Grades, Twenty20, Under 19 (Senior Open), Under 17 and Under 15.

Registration for these grades will open on 1 August here. Membership fees will be decided by the Board on 31 July.

Premier / Premier Reserve / Third Grade

The Premier and Premier Reserve Grades are the top of Auckland Cricket's competitions. 

The Premier/Reserve Grade plays a mixture of Twenty20, One Day and Two Day Cricket. 

Premier Men will start the season on 23 October. 

Premier Reserve and Third Grade will begin on 30 October. 

Grade Cricket

Grade Cricket is for the competitive to the semi-competitive cricketer. In this grade you will play a mixture of Two Day and One Day cricket which is broken up as follows:

Games will begin on 30 October. 

One Day Grades

The One Day grades are aimed at cricketers who are competitive right through to social. Auckland Cricket has several grades available for all skill levels. Over the season you will play a total of 18 games, 8 before Christmas and 10 after. 

The dates for the One Day Cricket season are expected to begin 30 October. 

Saturday or Sunday Twenty20  Grades

These grades are aimed at the time-poor semi-competitive to social cricketer. There are three grades that you can opt into depending on the skill level of your team. Conveniently, you are able to play on a Saturday or a Sunday. 

Typically, over the season you will play a total of 16 games, 8 before Christmas and 8 after. 

The T20 grades are expected to begin on 30 October. Auckland Cricket is set to confirm on 15 August. 

Under 19 (a.k.a. Senior Open)

The Under 19 grade is aimed at individuals currently in Year 11, 12 or 13 at secondary school or individuals coming back from their first year at University who are Under 19 as at 1 September 2020.  

This year Auckland Cricket has introduced a midweek Twenty20 option alongside their regular season competition. 

Regular Season Dates

We will begin on 30 October. 

Midweek Twenty20 Dates

We will begin between 9 and 11 November. 

Under 17

Anyone under the age of 17 as at 1 September of the current year is able to enter. 

This year, Auckland Cricket has introduced a midweek Twenty20 grade. We welcome individual as well as team entries for this grade.

Twenty20 Dates

9 and 11 November. 

Under 15

Anyone under the age of 15 as at 1 September is eligible to play in this grade.
