Senior Club
The Senior Club caters for all players 18 years and over and for all skill levels, from the elite Premier team to the social leagues.
There were 18 senior teams at Cornwall in 2008/09 and it is likely that this number will increase for the coming summer.
Junior Division
Today the club is particularly committed to its junior grades, which begin at Year 1 (the 5 year olds). The Cricket year grades correspond with the school year at August registration. After three or four seasons with the softer "Incrediball", the players move on in Year 5 to the hard ball. At Year 6, they begin inter-club competitions under the auspices of the ACA. As they develop further, they are introduced to other competitions, such as Milo Cricket, played by Year 7 (the under 12's) onwards. Eventually, as the U-15's and U-18's, they come to represent the junior club at its highest levels.
There is a strong and growing league of girls teams playing in the Girls' Grade of the Junior Division, with teams at all age levels. Initially, the Midget Grades (Years 1, 2, 3 and 4) cater very much for both boys and girls. As they develop, however, most girls gravitate towards the Girls' Grade, with the result that it has a high standard of excellence.
The Junior Division is run by the Junior Committee, which reports directly to the Club Board of Directors. All grades are represented on the Junior Committee, to ensure that all interests are catered for. The Committee works actively in pursuit of both fun and excellence for the players.
